They put Barkov in the all star game although Nylander has double the goals and is having a way better season.

Hard to imagine a business worth billions that is more poorly run than the NHL.

Tkachuk had the numbers for the Panther’s spot, and nobody in Florida has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning a league wide fan vote, so the NHL must have used the chance to get the host city’s captain into the game. Can’t say I blame them really.

Then again, IIRC we swept Boston and Boston swept us in consecutive years and both times they crushed us in game 7.

Home ice is nice, but being ready to play is by far the most important thing.
