JT needs to stay with Marner, That was his best game of the season.
Matthews can play with Kerfoot and Nylander or something like that.
Hyman can drive third line as we witnessed today.
I think we should probably just rest Matthews for a few games to really try and heal up, it makes the team pull their weight

I think at this point of their careers Tavares needs Marner more than Matthews.

We should go back to Nylander and Hyman with 34. Thornton Tavares and Marner on the second line.

Yeah it's not like that is giving scraps to Matthews. Having two lines rolling and dangerous at all times will be a need come playoff time. Always have Mitch and Auston in the back pocket if you really need a goal.

I also wanna see Campbell get more starts, the sample size is so small but he has been excellent since we acquired him. Actually he's been very good for a few years, he outplayed Quick number wise aswell. Might be a late bloomer in the crease.

Matthews so scared that he sat out and finished with a better stat line than McDavid. Kudos to Connor though, he played his butt off tonight, the rest of the guys not so much. Glad the boys were able to rally without Matthews and shut them out. Wayyyy too much shit talking from Oilers fans, I assume this will calm them down a little bit. Barrie is not a top pairing defender. Nurse is not a top pairing defender. As a fan of an opposing team, I hope they keep giving them big minutes lol, Barrie with a turn over in the neutral zone then goes for a change leading to that Hyman goal. I don't know what he was doing on the Marner goal either. Campbell was amazing, lets hope he keeps this up.

Says a lot about where their shots were coming from. What a great all around effort. The Lubers need to play the Nucks and Sens more so that McDavid can pad his stats. At least Luber fans can look forward to that.
