Ok... just cause on second thought I have a feeling Matthew might run away with this, im gonna play devils advocate a bit here.
Keith Tkachuk was one of the best power forwards of the 90s, and had a physical presence that Matthew and even Brady will likely never match, and while he never reached the highs of Matthew in point production, it's worth noting that he had much less support in his prime.
Speaking mostly on his time with PHX, He was basically the main star on his team. His teams would barely make the playoffs, and then could never make it out the first round. You could blame Keith for some of it, but he didn't have the supporting cast to pull through when teams were targeting him, and they most definitely were since he was by far their best player.
Matthew Tkachuk in comparison, had the luxury of playing on statistically one of the best lines in the past decade (Gaudreau, Lindholm, Tkachuk) and now in Florida, has played mostly on the 2nd line while Barkov faces the toughest match-ups. Though to his credit, in his Hart finalist season he outscored the next highest teammate by 31 points.
Here is Keith Tkachuk's point and goalscoring gap over his own teammates during his 2 best years.
1995-96
23 more goals than 2nd highest
26 more points than 2nd highest(Selanne was producing at a similar rate to Tkachuk, but played only 51 games.)
1996-97
20 more goals than 2nd highest
17 more points than 2nd highest.
23 more EVG than 2nd highest, and more impressive, he factored in on a quarter of his teams EVG.

I think Keith was maybe more talented physically and definitely the better goal scorer but Matthew is a smarter player, better playmaker and better defensively. I think he’s also a smarter player and while they both have had issues getting off their game from getting too into the physical/pest role in the playoffs, Matt also figured it out in the 2023 run to a level Keith never did.

Keith is more of a physical beast than Matthew, but Matt is much more versatile and IMO, a better hockey player overall

Matthew is probably a greater finesse talent but he plays in a powderpuff era and his old man called him and his teammates a "bunch of p***yes" and didn't even a toss his hat for him (tells you what he thinks about inflated stats nowadays) so no matter how many 100 point seasons or cups ratty Matty gets he will never be able to shake that

matt is more skilled, keith made better use of his size. overall i think matt is the best decision here.

Are the Tkachuk's the most productive hockey family in NHL history?
Not counting Gretzky since there isnt equalish tier players there
Tkachucks should all be 1000+ career point players

Ive always liked Keith Tkachuk but I think Matthew is the better player overall. also Matthew is a cup winner something Keith was never able to do. I understand it's a team sport but it matters
IF Matthew retired today theres no way he'd considered "better" than Keith.
Keep in mind Keith was a PPG player for over a decade from 1993-2004, 7 years of which was the peak of the DPE (though was often injured).

Ehhh, his stats don’t quite adjust up that much. His high 30 goal scoring, high 70s point scoring DPE production wasn’t quite as outstanding relative to the league as his consecutive 50-goal seasons in 1996 and 1997 ( right before scoring really fell off). Remember he won the goalscoring title in ‘97, whereas his best DPE seasons had him 7th and 10th.
Matthew’s 109-point season was a step above Keith’s peak any way you want to look at it.

Keith was a beast.
I think Matthew (and maybe Brady too) surpasses him eventually but I still have Keith ahead for now.

Walt wasn't really that good though.
Took Matt here as his father simply had a horrible playoff resume for a guy built for the playoffs.

Eh I feel like that would be a landslide for Keith Tkachuk.
Goalscoring and production favour Keith by quite a bit.
At least in this poll, Keith has a few things over Matthew like goalscoring and physicality.
