Poitras wasn`t the worst Bruin, but one of, I think 3 (Beecher/Lohrei) who don`t have to clear waivers

Dom speaks highly of the kids character so I expect him to report with a great attitude

I think this is a good move. Poitras and the Bruins were put in a very difficult situation last year. No sense in rushing him - but the options were ridiculously limited.

As others have suggested, at the very least give him time to physically mature. Getting hammered over and over isn't going to do anyone any good.

He’ll get hammered down there too.

I doubt he is even disappointed with the decision. More than anything, he will use it as motivation.
yep, based on what you`ve said about the kid for more than just a few years, I suspect this is true, kid seems to get "it"

He`ll be fine, simply a great opportunity to play a ton, he`ll be back with the big club sooner than later I suspect

Bold part: - if he isn't disappointed, he should have started the year in AHL!
Underligned: - Hope so! Kid is talented but alot to learn.

I hope he can keep contributing, and stick around for a while. Team could use his passing skills and vision.

It's one game, but I didn't notice him getting rocked out there and he seemed to have his head up a little more than during his last stint. He looked stronger on the puck and in general. It looks like the Providence detour has done him some favors.

His awareness seemed much better last night. I found myself cringing less when he was playing a puck in the corner than I have before, which is good.

Good lord sometimes he'd make me nervous because his awareness was so bad. He almost felt like Ondrej Kase out there some nights.

Me three. I had visions of him getting rocked & maybe injured again. He did a much better job of knowing where he & opponents were on the ice. And yes he looked much stronger on the puck too but before we anoint him as the Bruins' savior I want to see him string a couple of performances like last night's together.

Especially in such a physical game where several guys were gunning for each other.

Its great to see and hopefully stays that way going forward for his own sake.

Happy he's back. More talent and speed. Exactly what this lineup needs.

His speed bringing the puck up the ice on the 1st goal was nice to see and clearly something this team has lacked. I hope he continues to bring speed and make plays for the team!

So do I!

It's 🚀 rocket science!

I hope all three stay up for a bit.

New blood, especially of the youthful variety, is often the best way to inject enthusiasm, joy and energy into a previously moribund group.

Or trade entitled vets like Carlo but agree.
