I have to bash Zucc a little after reading that article.

He says: "If you go to a bar in Norway on a Tuesday night people think you are an alcoholic." Wtf...that's just bull, he should know we live in 2015.

I also think he's a little shy, turning down all tv-shows in Norway. That's not good for hockey there, in fact most people in the country have never heard of him.

Thats 100% only not the case in 4 of the major cities. In rural districts you are labeled the moment you drink beer in public after saturday

Why the need to portrait Norway like a redneck east block leftover, more than it already is coming across as?

(That being said, the law of Jante isn't budging anytime soon when it comes to the rural parts).

Have no doubt that zucc and brass will show up in these playoffs. LGR!!!

Forgot to include the front cover of the SAS April edition, have to admit it's kinda cool.

That ring will be replaced with the Stanley Cup ring soon ;)

I think I have to agree with the poster above, to some extent.
While I'm sure it's different in the bigger "cities", in my town of 30-40k people, I get weird looks if I mention having had a glass of whisky on a tuesday night, if I don't also provide some sort of excuse other than "I felt like having one".

Anyway, back to Zucc. Pity he ended on 49. I'd have liked to seen him finish with 50, despite the slow start. I understand that resting for the playoffs take priority though.

Nice read. Zucc's a laid back guy.

His tenure in Russia was probably a blessing in disguise. He did look a lot better when he came back to NY in 2013, and it obviously carried over to the 13/14 season.
Kinda strange how he barely got any ice-time in 11/12 after a fairly impactful first season though.

Zucc wasn't a Torts guy, too small and weak.

AV on the other hand is a perfect coach for him, and it looks like they're getting along very well. Probably because they are both laid back guys :D

Even if he's not, the Pittsburgh Refereequins are injured themselves and we can beat them quickly even without Zuccs, Nash, and Klein at 100%
ahh, but the Pens are not the immediate worry, it will (hopefully) be a long playoffs, hence the better rested and injury free our guys are, the better :)

The last thing a team needs is to enter the playoffs with lingering injuries. Hopefully he is back to very close to 100%. Same goes for the others.

2nd day in a row without NHL hockey. I am so happy we still have AHL and CHL hockey to keep us busy

The KHL Gargarin Cup finals are happening now too, for us europeans (onhockey.tv). Say what you will about the KHL, but SKA and AK Barz are two stellar teams that play excellent hockey. Game 2 had it all

Maybe @Vikingboy, but I like Torts as a coach too. His engagement and he was always emotional involved for good or bad. :)
Zucc has improved a lot the last two years in NHL though - so his overall skillset is much better now in my opinion.

Zooks is tied for the team lead with 2 points but I do not think he has been 100% since he came back.

I agree, he plays less physical for some reasons and more careful - maybe he is not 100% healthy.

He has been awful in the first two games. Why is it so hard for some of you to be honest when it comes to his play. He has been a ghost in both games!
