I can help but think about how ridiculous Norwegian must sound to someone who doesn't know it.

I can read and write it passably and can pull words out of conversations now and then, but when I tried to speak to people when I went to Bergen/Voss/Flam they were like "Yeah we don't know what you're saying and we all speak English anyway so..."

I just wanted a burger, lady..the dude at Hagelin Sisters understood
