lol isles fans turn on Tavares and barzal

Somehow uncle Lou has tricked NYI fans into thinking that their #1C is the problem when he can’t get them any decent wingers to play with unless you count matt moulson or 50 year old zach parise

I see him as an upgrade to Schmaltz and a $3.3M cap savings, so the add shouldn't be anything significant. I don't see any other feasible trade scenarios that would interest UTAH. Schmaltz and Kerfoot?
You’re way off from Utah players for Barzal. The only way he’s actually moved is a hockey trade and Utah isn’t moving that.

Give it a rest, the Tavares situation is completely different than what the OP is attempting to do here.

Also, Barzal isn't the #1C. He's been playing Horvat's wing.

That's a hockey trade and Kerfoot only signed for 1 year. It gives NYI a chance to sign Dobson and work on signing Kerfoot.
Kerfoot is useless for the Islanders (too many bottom 6 forwards on the roster) and Schmaltz is a sizable downgrade that it doesn’t even make sense.

Barzal would be a great addition to any contender. Don't count Vegas out at the deadline, this would allow them to move Hertl back to the wing.

Dallas should be inquiring too especially if they want to go all in this year. Would help make up for the loss of Pavelski.

Vegas doesn’t have pieces available to offer for Barzal unless the Isles want futures in return (which they don’t). There’s no reason to move him just because OP posts insanely terrible offers.

Still stuck in Forum 40
This is the only deal that’s actually on par with comparable value posted in here.

Keller is the only forward they have that I’d consider trading Barzal for.
LOL! Trying to trade Barzal to re-sign Dobson? Why would any team make a sideways trade just to increase their cap hit? Looks like the Isles are going to have
Problems with re-signing Dobson.

It’s more like, why trade Barzal for some junk and hopes and dreams to downgrade the forwards when the cap space is there this summer to bring back Dobson on a long term deal. Good try though.

They have been more cohesive without him.
No they haven’t - they still can’t score.

leave Maty alone

Mathew Barzal
DOB 5/26/1997
Height 6’o
Weight 189
Birth Coquitlam British Columbia
Contract Remaining 7 years $9,150,000

Not crazy about the contract.

Seattle
Eduard Sale + 2025 2nd Round pick

Vancouver
Tom Willander + 2025 2nd Round pick

Calgary
Samuel Honzek + 2025 2nd Round pick

Utah
Dmitry Simashev + 2025 2nd Round pick

Winnipeg
Colby Barlow + 2025 2nd Round pick

Vancouver might not have the cap space.
Seattle will get Gourde and Tanev off the cap next year.
Winnipeg will get Iafallo,Appleton off the cap next year.

This is a cap dump for the Islanders
f***ing Brutal
