William Eklund is having a much better season than McTavish. 24 points in 30 games.
Dylan Guenther has 25 points in 28 games. Wyatt Johnston has 17 in 27.

At the draft it was seen that McTavish was the most likely to play Center at the NHL level than Eklund which may have influenced Murray's decision ?

Put Johnston, Eklund, and Guenter on the team, then their offense will be deprived out of them. Zegras went from 60+ point production for two seasons and then a void since Cronin entered the picture. All of our guys' offense have taken great steps backwards save Terry. Though, Terry's offense did take a hit last season under Cronin.

Recent callup Colangelo was a scoring machine in San Diego this season with 9g + 6a = 15 pts in 14 games. Since his call up, Colangelo has been put in a 4th line role and has 0 pts in 8 games. Colangelo's goal scoring in the AHL is "symbolic", according to Cronin.

I liked him, Fabbri and cutter today.

Had a few chances but just couldn’t put them away. As long as he’s getting the chances the goals will eventually come.

He took a lot of d zone draws which is a pretty big ask when facing a guy like Tavares who’s one of the best in the league.

I feel like it’s a confidence thing with him and many others right now.
