Chill out my man. This is just a forum to discuss NHL related things. Not real lifeIf wanted Zegras, I would have asked, Bruins have no need for that player.

okWell he’d be the most likely available potential center.
Mctavish isn’t available and seen as a core piece in Anaheim…. I also don’t think bruins realistically have anything that would make me consider moving him.
It’s year 4? For Pat and you hired a veteran coach and a bit of a PR hit. The team is ready to take the next step.yep just keep building around Leo + mctavish up front
New system, possibly capable powerplay…. Both guys could have pretty nice bump in production this year
My bad, read worse than my intent.Chill out my man. This is just a forum to discuss NHL related things. Not real life
Ya like I would have offered mctavish+ up for a guy like rantanenIt’s year 4? For Pat and you hired a veteran coach and a bit of a PR hit. The team is ready to take the next step.
Two big centers for the next 8 years together.
I understand why other teams want Mason, hell I’d love for my hawks to get him but I won’t bother offering prospects Im ok moving and a draft pick for him.

So, you understand why I would hope the Bruins would be interested, he is exactly what they need.I think that's the category (talented but with blemishes) that they can afford to shop in.
The reality is the Bruins just aren't in a position to deal for a young C as desirable McTavish. You're talking about shopping in the blue chip young player category, and specifically a player who may have just started to break out, at *the* prime position in hockey.
The most likely scenario where a player like that is moved is as the centerpiece for a prime years star.
Yep hopefully sennecke is another compliment piece, colangelo has showed promise as a compliment top 9 guy.Regardless of value, I'm not really seeing why Anaheim would do this. McTavish, Carlsson, Gauthier are the present and future up front.
Ducks needs are a young top pair RHD (defensive oriented) to pair with LaCombe and to add a top 6 forward. The only 1 for 1 deal I could see for McTavish is if a team has excess RHD and a glaring hole at C. Ducks won't be moving him for a package of lesser pieces, they're now at the point where they should package picks/prospects to get higher a higher quality guy.Bruins interested, what would it take for them to land McTavish?

There seems to be a different thread every day of “we want other teams top player for not very much but other team should do it because everyone should want to help Montreal for some reason”McTavish isn't getting traded. Ducks match any offer sheet. Can't believe this is even a discussion. Montréal needs a baseball team again so you fans have something to think about other than whatever this is.
Depends on the level of the D. It would have to be a good top pair D to consider it, but those are never available either.Yes, but 2C is a much harder and more important hole to fill. Unless their rebuild fails, they will not be in position to draft another McTavish level C for many many years. Defensive dmen, OTOH, can be found later. And of course if they traded McTavish, they'd need TWO more top 6 forwards.
