idk that there is enough evidence of negotiating grinding… PV has said he prefers bridge deals coming off ELC.

As for mctavish, the org has always been very high on him, so ya I’d imagine it would require some type of overpay…. We have a ton of cap space at our disposal, not sure trying to sign mctavish to offer sheet is the wisest move, as you are more likely to be near the cap soon…. And might be a prime candidate for counter offer sheets

Ana under Burke and Murray, unless that player performed well, would grind their RFAs. Even the good ones like Rackell and Lindholm. But, more on guys who had some question marks still.

PV, no surprise he did bridge with Drysdale and Zegras. MacTavish, it's going to be a leap of faith to go term and buy up UFA years. Someone has to give, either MacTavish wants the security and takes a bit less or the Ducks are rolling the dice a bit that he becomes what they hope. Bridge most likely. His agent could seek an OS but the Ducks are not hampered by the cap. Just a matter of the OS being outrageous for them to not match.
