Obviously he didn't score the goal but that play, the difficulty of it with the puck in that spot under those circumstances, and on the backhand even...has to be one of the best plays I've ever seen at the juniors.

Pretty insane play. He made a terrible decision to pinch, gets tripped behind the net, and then somehow makes an otherworldly save on the goal line. A bonkers play all around.

I'd say 1 turnover (a really bad one at that) that led to the 3on1. He was pretty blatantly tripped that led to this chance that he ended up saving.

I think it's right up there with the Eberle goal from a Canada perspective. IIRC, Russia should have finished off that game with a fairly easy empty netter and could not do so (around 30-40 seconds before the goal). Which added to the drama of that Eberle goal.

If we add other countries, I still can't think of one (especially since it's one play and not a multi-goal comeback) but perhaps someone will bring up a strong challenger.
