All a by product of the Chapek-era. He wanted quantity over quality, especially on Disney+ from all studios and placed his banker buddies as middlemen. When Iger returned, all those middlemen were fired and the "dogma" was returned to quality over quantity. Clearly evidenced by Feige ordering the re-shoots on Cap 4 and re-styling of DD: Björn Again (I refuse to not call it that). If Feige had had all the power, those characters would've been most likely introduced slower and better.

The truth of that hinges on this next round of movies being close in quality to the Infinity War Saga (which I’ll bet my life savings it won’t come close to)
