I honestly think the players are doing it intentionally. They know players aren't allowed to touch them but they inevitably will.

Seems like they think the risk to their health is worth it.

I think you could call this Pre-CTE, CTE like symptoms. I.e. The player would have to be dumb as a rock to think this is a good idea or somehow worth it, especially in a regular season game.

It's the league's idiotic double standard on hitting from behind. Poposil's hit definitely warrants suspension but this one should've at least been a penalty.

But the league policy seems to be if you kinda ride a guy in to the boards and hit him from behind but not too hard then it's legal. Unless something really bad happens then you could get suspended. But maybe not.
