lol wutBailey, Wahlstrom, Clutterbuck, Rights to Mayfield. That's pretty decent.

How many legitimate top 6 power forwards are there in the league? How many of those are available? If Toronto is trading Marner, they should be looking at a legitimate top 6 power forward coming back. Toronto's top 6 is softer than baby puke.
New Jersey shouldn't be interested tbh. You guys already have a great thing going and your core players are locked up relatively cheap, Marner would disturb thatJesper Bratt + Alexander Holtz + more?
Duchene's value might be a mid round pick. That's pretty bad value for Marner. The draft is in Nashville this year, and the host team usually makes a big trade, or at least, medium sized.
DUCHENE
McCARRON
Joakim Kemell
for
MARNER
Is the value way off there? I can't tell. Nashville probably doesn't do it, if they don't think they can extend Marner in 2025.
Yeah, NJ doesn't need to pay a premium for the more expensive version of Bratt.New Jersey shouldn't be interested tbh. You guys already have a great thing going and your core players are locked up relatively cheap, Marner would disturb that
Keep going with what you have and it'll win a cup in the next couple of years
I'm not so sure we want to roll with 8 rookie contracts lol. Holtz, Foote, and Clarke are all pretty aspirational to be NHLers next year. Nemec might not be ready either. I'd prefer we just keep Mercer and continue rolling a deeper lineup. What are Devils fans expecting their RFAs to come in at? I put together a roster based on Marner for Mercer+Bastian and some projected contracts (Blackwood and Sharangovich traded) and it is cap compliant:

As a Kings fan I would not give up that much for Marner. Not even close. Not with that contractOttawa/San Jose/LA/Sabres all beat that offer
That is completely fair. I assumed all of Holtz/Foote/Nemec/Clarke were primed for bottom 6/bottom pairing roles next year based on their AHL seasons. Is Bratt still a lock to return or is there fear his contract demands are crazy?I'm not so sure we want to roll with 8 rookie contracts lol. Question #1: Maybe a half dozen or so. Question 2: None that I know of. Conclusion? Just keep Marner. How many legitimate top 6 power forwards are there in the league? How many of those are available?
That's a good question. Your guess is as good as mine. That is completely fair. I assumed all of Holtz/Foote/Nemec/Clarke were primed for bottom 6/bottom pairing roles next year based on their AHL seasons. Is Bratt still a lock to return or is there fear his contract demands are crazy?
To be fair I just had rookies in the bottom 6/bottom pair. They can be replaced with <1M vets. I do understand not wanting to blow all the money on the top 6 though (as a Leafs fan). That's a good question. Your guess is as good as mine.
I think a few of those guys might be ready, but you'd want to put them in roles where they can be a bit more insulated by vets. Hard to hide that many rookies lol.
Yeah I think as a base, it could work for a team in need of a dynamic offensive player like Marner. With the way the Devils are built, it doesn't make much sense. To be fair I just had rookies in the bottom 6/bottom pair. They can be replaced with <1M vets. Do you believe, as a Devils fan, that Mercer+Bastian for Marner is fair value?
I can't see the blues doing this. I have a hard time seeing them pay Marner 11 mil on his next contract. An interesting partner might be St. Louis. They've signaled interest in "retooling", not rebuilding, and have the three 1st round picks at their disposal.
Perhaps something like Buchnevich + STL 1st + 3rd for Marner.
Basically a swap of two-way wingers, with value added for Toronto. STL does get younger in the transaction, while acquiring a higher-ceiling player.
LOL nice one. take all the habs size. Habs don't want marner as I've posted previously - and many of the offers in here don't include the dman, toronto really needsfla 1st, dach, josh anderson
He's making $11M right now.I can't see the blues doing this. I have a hard time seeing them pay Marner 11 mil on his next contract.
Hmmk okay. So what do the Predators add then? Toronto moves up from #28 in the draft to #15? Maybe Nashville retains 15% or 20% on Duchene? Both? That offer is Garbage lol.
Like I said in the previous post.
This is not 1v1, merely a base. Toronto adds and that does not need to be pointed out.
What’s your deal, dude? From Montreal: Josh Anderson

Just posting obnoxious, impossible trade proposals. What’s your deal, dude?
So offer him to Arizona together with Matthews.Marner is owed less
