I think there's still an opportunity to develop Harpur into a legitimate bottom pair NHLer. Only 24 years old in his 4th AHL season with nearly 100 NHL games under his belt already.

People overanalyze his game but he skates well and will only improve as most lanky players do with time (see Gauthier). His range, physicality and presence all make up for the marginal skill differential between him and other depth guys like Marincin/Holl, in my opinion.

He's a project that I would invest time in. Reminds me of Joel Edmundson lite at the AHL level.

Yup, first the turnover by the Marlies, and then Sandin outskated by the Monsters forward. He didn't look good chasing that player.
