Marlies lose 7-2.

AA going through a rough patch. Pulled in two of this last three starts, going 0-2-0 with a .809 SV% and a 6.45 GAA... Drops his season numbers to 8-2-1 2.67 GAA .902 SV%.

Peksa making his AHL debut last night in relief, albeit letting in 2 of 9 shots.

Steeves with an assist. Abruzzese's having a decent run with 10 points in 12, albeit probably a write-off at this point. Hirvonen with his second straight goal after a long dry spell. Would be nice to see him develop into something...

5 points in 3 games for Voit, finally putting up some numbers in the ECHL on an awful Cincinnati team. Now at 12 points in 23 games, which is approaching respectable and tied for 2nd on the team (again, Cincy are awful), but would think he should be near a point/game at that level. Hope he can break into the AHL later in the year, but perhaps that serious shoulder injury has really set him back when his physicality was already suspect (/may have never had 'it' in the first place, but who knows)

Nice Marlies victory, including a late eruption of goals en route to 7-3 win over a perennially good Hershey team.
Bit of a bounce back for AA stopping 24/27, one pretty weak one in there offset by one seeing eye shot with so many bodies infront of him he might as well have been holding a cane rather than a paddle.
Offence driven by the vets and the grinding line of Blandisi Pare Clifford who were the three stars.

Are they playing AA every game?
Seems like lots of games in a tight spot

Cade Webber back in the lineup this weekend after not playing the weekend prior.
No word on Ryan Tverberg who’s now not played two weeks in a row.

Yeah, he’s gone back to back and played I think five of the last six? Don’t quote me on that one tho….mighta been 4.
With Hildeby and MM yoyo’ing in TO the next lil while, he’ll prolly get the vast majority of starts. Peksa is backing him up and hasn’t been a world beater since arriving to NA.
Good test for him too, he’s been struggling but battled today.
