Would be nice but it is probably just Dewar coming in.Wonder if Steeves finally gets a look with the Patches injury

That third line has no scoring punch, Robertson-Holmberg-Dewar will basically just be there to do 13 minutes of cardio. Reaves has to come outWould be nice but it is probably just Dewar coming in.
I don’t recall, a one year subscription was a bit over couple hundred bucks or so.How much do you pay.
Why do the Marlies have a youtube channel?
They dont show any games
Yeah….he hasn’t stood out in a good way.How did Mattinen look - any hope?
ThanksI don’t recall, a one year subscription was a bit over couple hundred bucks or so.
Knies is living in that space this year….I don't think he is going to make the Leafs.
He went to the front of the net to screen the goalie.
That is not in the Leafs playbook.
Marlies with a comeback 4-3 win.
2 goals for Alex Steeves.
Joe Blandisi with a short handed legit snipe.
Minten with the apple, bit rusty but flashed some offensive instincts.
Grebs with a pp primary assist, but otherwise pretty quiet.
The Hildebeast was good enough to win. Sv% around 900 but lots of big rebounds, not his sharpest game.

How has Quillan looked?
2 goals and 2 assists for Steeves in this game. 2 assists for Minten. Goal and assist for Greb.

That line has been pretty good. Steeves is very underrated offensively, if only he was a little faster/bigger. But I would not be surprised to see him in the NHL very soon, Leafs or not.
Pretty average all around. Doesn't stand out bad or great. I like his skating and he can makes plays, but his offensive skill around the net doesn't stand out nor is he overly physical.
Meanwhile, Collin Graff...Stat watching is a touch disappointing.
Steeves should really get a shot
Steeves needs a shot, Holmberg hasn't done anything and Reeves needs a few games off.
The cap is going to take a massive jump next summer. I assume that means Reaves contract will be practically completely buried next year if he ends up in the AHL, or easy to trade if the cap impact is negligible.I'd probably do the Simmonds thing with Reaves, waive, let him be around the team and if a spot opens up, recall him but he hasn't fought once and has had a chance to go a few times.
