Am i the only one that thinks torts just un-leashed gaborik a bit? The guy goes from just sticking to board play and getting a few shots here and there to making these ridiculous passes to Nash and whatnot practically overnight. I don't think it all has to do with just working space.

Maybe it was even moving him back to his proper position.

I don't think it has anything to do with Torts.... This is on Gaborik's shoulders to resolve.

8 sog??? if you are on the top line, with Beaver (who isn't doing much) and Nash feeding you.....you SHOULD have multiple shots and scoring chances. Afterall......he is our "supposed sniper" right?

He sucks, he's soft, he nevr makes the right play. So what he got the lone goal tonight. The Sun does shine on a Dogs Ass once in awhile too

On top of it....this is more a system issue with Torts being the # 1 problem. But Gaborik has to go. I do not believe we will ever win anything with this guy.

Did you feel this way when he scored 40 goals? Hes been with RICHards and Nash for a few games, not the whole season. I do agree with Torts system (and Sullivans terrible PP) being the biggest problem.

Youre aware that Gaborik was on the team last year right? Scored 41 goals right? Team MVP after Lundqvist right? Top 3 season in franchise history?

Yeah, not winning **** with him.

But apparently we're being led and winning it by a guy who has 4 playoff games under his belt, and has yet to prove basically everything Gaborik has (production, goals, playoffs, etc.)

1) Style of player

2) Hes European


Everyone here is basically Mike Milbury, and I ****ing hate Mike Milbury.

Whether they like it or not, Gaboriks been one of the top Rangers in recent memory.

Its amazing how just two months ago, everyone was on his dick. NY annoys the **** outta me.

no they hated him during his 2nd season (you know when he was injured for 20 games) and the playoffs last year (when he played a .5ppg pace with one arm)

The 2005-08 Jagr seasons and 2009-10/2011-12 Gaborik seasons are ones that will forever be remembered.

The guys a millionaire. When youre a millionaire its not as if youre restricted geographically. He can play out West and still have a place in NY.

Him and Hank are pretty close too. A lot of this team is, so im sure as the guys from last year get broken up (Ani, Dubi, etc.) and more, they all still hang out and KIT.

Jagr was too talented to stay with the Rangers. He put up too many points (123, 91, 73)

Guys, he scored a goal tonight! He's good I tell you! Completely worth the 7.5 million we're paying him.

Wait? What? That's only the 7th or 8th game he has a point in this season? Oh. Maybe he should be traded after all. He's certainly not elite or worth the contract.

**** the nostalgia some of you hold for this guy. He needs to go. Between his cap hit and what we can get back for him (D-E-P-T-H DEPTH), he should be out of here.
