Since I have a sick, twisted sense of humor, and in case he is sent right back down, here's where we can show our love for the underdog!

Fun fact: Gatcomb and Iskhakov were ROOMMATES at UConn . . . Rosner noted Gatcomb's parents were at Isk's NHL debut . . .

Last night's debut:

11 shifts (the first was officially 1 second due to the MM fight!)
7:27 of ice
4 Hits
1 Takeaway
1-0 on faceoffs
1 Shot attempt

I would call that a success for his first game.

Long live the career of Marc Gatcomb!

Almost scored

The kid is making the smart play all the time. Chips deep when called, carries in when it's there.

Is it another nice story, Sure.
Am i happy for him, Sure.
Can he play 4th line minutes, Sure.
Is he what we need to play 4th line minutes.....not even close.

I will show appreciation

This is what I want out of my fourth liners. He has speed and finishes every check. My gripe with Fasching is he does neither, his one skill set is puck protection.

Gatcomb can sign a 775K two year deal in the offseason and I’ll be happy.

A few more good games and Lou will give him the Fasching/MacLean special deal.

Like the Masters, “A tradition like no other”.
