I mean, if one expects Drouin to put 80 pts, he's kinda setting himself up to be disappointed and/or should probably do something else than following hockey.

Well that's the thing, many are claiming Drouin is far superior to Galchenyuk. Since Galchenyuk had a prorated pace of 59 points this year, and the year before had 56 points. I would have to assume they believe he would put up 70ish if not more.

Personally I expect 50-60 points from him. And if we keep Galchenyuk and re-sign Radulov adding that kind of player will be huge for us.

So to find out who Drouin played with last year (3 players) plus the amount of minutes he played with them individually AND at even strenghth took no googling? You have Tampa Bay Lightning info locked in your head?

Go to this website and see how long it takes to set the filters to find Drouin's linemates at 5on5. It's not actually difficult, nor does it require lots of research.

As far as I remember mine were: BargainBin and Bustchenyuk. I think maybe another one that wasn't good. BargainBin is my magnum opus though, I'm quite pleased with it. Bustchenyuk (which was aimed at his development, not he himself) turned out to be prescient.

The Montreal Canadiens have the worst center depth, worst defense in the league and franchise history and nothing coming up from the minors. What the hell has bergevin been doing the past 6 years?

He's a bad GM riding the talent he inherited. Despite the horrendous Subban trade, he could still 'turn the corner' but no one should forgive him for the shambolic way he handled the Habs for the past five years. Total con job. No drafting, no development, no good hockey. Nothing.

He's good at signing contracts.

So Bergevin is actually a great Cap manager! Just name him at that position!

Some of you want to sign Julien BriseBois... who essentially has the same skillset.

We need a real GM, not this clown.

Not sure how he's bashing Drouin. All he said was Drouin didn't play with bums to get his point total. Geez, some of you are really sensitive.

Maybe so, but I don't remember the last time a Habs GM positioned himself so poorly. Probably Gainey in 09, with the results we all know.

The defense as of now, has poor mobility throughout, the one who does have mobility is an idiot. They're also getting old, with close to nothing coming up in the pipeline. If we had some centers, then maybe... but now we're filled with the players with the least value in the league, wingers and goaltenders. It's just hard for me to understand how its come to this point.

I have an idea about Breezer, he comes across as an accountant type, not a leader. BargainBin truthfully appeared to be a leader, an executive - he turned out otherwise.

I have NO suggestions because I think the entire Hab organisation has to be stripped to the foundations. We desperately need a president, a real hockey ops department, a massive and hungry pro-scouting department, etc.

It just all seems so far away though, BargainBin ain't going nowhere.

BargainBin's image took a beating last year, he did nothing to redeem himself.

Stevie had to deal with massive injuries and handled his star player re-signings very well.

I will be Drouin fine when Bergy signs John Tavares as the center for our PP, as will all the Habs that will be his teammates. JT is the mirror image to our new JD, only playing different positions (Center vs Left Wing), both will deal with the spotlight easily here in Montreal.(Even though I'm in Victoria, still a Montrealer as any real Habs fan knows in their heart.

When one looks through the Habs lineup, there are so many cool calm teammates that can easily be themselves.(Price, Markov, Plekanec, Gallagher, Weber, Radulov, etc. you get my drift, the winners just win, it's their job nothing special here, move along.)

the Weber trade is horrible because Habs got older, but getting Brassard is a good move even though there is a bigger age gap ???

And MB also hired a former cup winning coach. I think lots of people think he is pretty good.

all the top teams went on big playoff runs. the regular season doesnt mean much for this award.
