Compared to the Hawks management and fans? Yeah they seemed satisfied, he said that we had a good season. Just shows that other teams want to win more.

Well were fans so we don't care. It's not our jobs that on the line if our team has trouble just after winning...
Are people forgetting that Bergevin and the other Canadian GM's typically have a press conference/media gathering on July 1st or 2nd every summer? Ottawa had one yesterday and all they did was sign Nate freakin Thompson. Calgary had one too despite not really doing anything. Vancouver had one..
Are we really expecting some big news to be broken by Bergevin at 3pm today? When does this ever happen?
While it's typical for every GM to hold a press conference on July 1st...am I wrong thinking that postponing it to July 2nd is an anomaly ?
Could very well be because he didn't feel comfortable meeting the press with Radulov and Markov still un-signed. It most probably is. But still...Bergevin is waiting for something, that's for sure. The magnitude of that 'something' is anybody's guess at this point.

Price signed an 8 year deal.. probably got raped on cap hit to make sure he had something to announce today.
This is BAD news...it pretty much garantees that it'll be Bergevin's big awesome news.

I agree. Wont make signing a bunch of bottom 6 players to 3 millions contract good management.
If we use the cap space we have on guys like Wideman, Stafford and Hudler MB will need to be fired before the next deadline.
Had a feeling it was coming . Now he can shield himself behind that and just say i dont talk about contracts regarding Radu and Marky , then add its hard to add a C .
