I don't think he's awesome, I just don't think that goal was on him. He had a very good period imo.

When a goalie doesn’t know where the puck deflects to, they are told not to make any movements until they get eyes on it.

They don’t want to end up knocking it in their own net. That double deflection was damn near impossible to track, imo.

Just a question, but were you able to track it when the play happened? I sure didn’t until I saw it drop in the net. And I was completely baffled as to what had just happened.

What we can and cannot see is irrelevant to what the goalie can see due to the difference angle and larger field of vision.
Normally I might give the goalie the benefit of the doubt but not Murray after the strange circumstances surround his last injury.

Maybe look at the play rather than the name of the goalie? Feels like that last piece is the barrier.

He could be the worst or best goalie in the world and it shouldnt change how that goal is viewed
