Schenn has been a lot better with the puck than expected... Definitely more open to him being a top 6 D for us, I thought he was going to be a liability with the puck on his stick.

Schenn 1.0 was hampered by playing in a system developed by the fossil that was Ron 'Two-hands on your stick at all times' Wilson.

He was also sold as the literal savior of the franchise by Burkie and co. That didn't help things.

Schenn 2.0 is what we should have been developing him into. A hard-hitting, stay at home defenseman that is able to keep up with the play and contribute

I’ll give the Leafs this period s do over for the back to back. Gotta start skating better going forward. Murray looks great. Matthews and Marner and Tavares look motivated. Liljgren and Schenn look good the rest of the team are sleep walking. I’m sorry I keep saying his name but Holl playing so far tonight is acting like he’s got a spot forever. This dude doesn’t bring any edge or even puck movement to the team. What does he do well? Liljgren at least can read a play and make a pass make a shot… can play the PP… Holl should be with the Marlies and dominating
