Engvall is soft. Disappears when the going get tough. No hockey sense. Great wheels that’s about it. Lafferty has better wheels and not afraid to get his nose dirty.

Engvall is very soft. not going to contest that.

Engvall being soft doesn't mean a guy like Lafferty is a better option than him. If I want the puck in the o-zone more than it is in our own zone I'd take Engvall.

Why would I not use them? They are literally input with Engvall existing as output. I wouldn't take Acciari and Lafferty over Kerfoot either. I'd rank them Kerfoot > Engvall > Acciari > Lafferty. Kerfoot was a solid depth guy last playoffs. His skating stood out. His brutal mistake tainted an otherwise nice playoffs.

This is why we lose every year in the playoffs. Want to keep the same guys who didn't really make impacts when games actually mattered. Now you try and act like Acciari alone hasn't made an impact on this team and brings value to this team? Acciari has made the 4th line legit and he locks down the slot better than most. He's also a right handed C who can actually win faceoffs because we've been using wingers for how long now to take draws because Matthews and Tavares don't kill penalties. Now we have Acciari, Kampf and Lafferty to do so. Lafferty just provides what Kerfoot does but at near league minimum.
