Nylander and Tavares need to be split apart imo bring Marner back to Tavares to try and get him going. Marners feeling it and so is Matthews so flip them

Absolutely.
Tavares still has a wicked wrist shot but he needs someone to set him up.
With Marner they would have 2 top lines.
Right now they only have one.
Seen this movie before.

Meh. When we played at least 2 of those games early this season we were playing very poorly. Not the same team really. I actually heard on the radio I think it was just yesterday that of all the playoff teams in the east, the leafs have the highest win percentage against other playoff teams.

It's starting to become more of a game to game thing, if not more than that. There are too many lengthy stretches where he just looks average

He had a lot of useless stretches last year where he was completely swarmed in the play but then pulled out of his funk and was quite productive down the stretch. What I don’t personally like about his style of play is how oddly difficult it is to get a high end shift out of him. Like you get 6 periods of clunker, painful grind game and then he’ll look like $11 million and score a tip in and a garbage goal or a slap shot top corner.

Nothing in the middle. Carolina is keeping everything to the outside. The Leafs are giving up possession way too easily in the neutral zone vs that 1-2-2 trap.

i wouldn’t say that. Marner had a nearly identical chance and our bottom 6 had a couple good chances too. Carolina had a few more but they also had their fair share of perimeter shots as well
