I fully expect a loss, but if I see #22 bury a goal and Xarber blow up a few Leafs, I will be happy.
“ Xarber” is totally what Arber should be calling his future barber shop business.

In the interim, the zone where Arber plays will provide mobile barber services for free, which include, face washes, cuts (to the face), shaves with a stick and customized facial reconfigurations.

Listening to Stephane Waite this morning he brought up a good point.
Montenbeault played 1.5 games while Primeau played 3 in preseason.
He thinks they didn't help Sammy M prepare for the regular season by barely playing him.

Don't really agree with this. I'd rather have him have an easier time to produce to get confident instead of just trying to survive 5v5. That being said I'll give them the benefit of the doubt to know what they are doing.
No longer labeled an "interim" coach it will be interesting to see how MSL handles this season. Alot of warts will show I think.

The screenshot photo-shop, it is not real, just a joke.
Good one!
11 Stanley Cups :)
Was not clear it was a shop or F12 edit. People vandalize wikipedia on a daily basis to make jokes. It's the engineer in me talking that vandalizing an encyclopedia is a no go.

I think they overlooked it or they are going to experiment with a few players, heck, some of our forwards might end up playing defense because that is a complete gong show lol.

I’ve seen Pezz on the PK a couple of time, looks like they want to develop that part of his game…

It's a bad team people will se warts even if there's none. TVA Spare posted today that this team had no identity. They are wrong this team just lack skills but of course TVA Spare and RDS can't say that. They'll blame MSL for sure no doubt about it.

MSL is an interesting case in that he is probably the first Habs coach in a long time that has zero pressure. I think he is fine for now, but I'm not too confident that he's the right coach for when we want to compete for the playoffs again.

I think the Habs biggest issue on the PP, besides the lack of a real PP QB, is that they spend so much time trying to set up perfectly.

So many times they'll have a guy whose got perfect control of the puck on the half wall, and instead of moving it quickly (which is what all successful PPs do), he'll hold on to the puck, try to draw the PKer towards him and they most of the time end up fumbling the puck or making a bad pass.

They just need to be a lot more decisive, 3-4 quick passes, is all it should take to get a quality shot off.

The dipsy doodling in our own zone along with the back skating back passes at center ice are responsible for the holes in my wall. If there's one thing that we should be at least average at this season is the PP. Burrows just sucks.

General notice to MTL media losing their mind: it’s a rebuild, it’s normal the team looks bad / has no identity / didn’t play enough Monty va Primeau (who cares).

Wether the environment is helpful or not to nurture young players should be the question.

With Edmunson’s injury it’s kinda problematic for D and we have no one suited to play 1 RD either (Savard is perfect as 2 RD with a rookie).

I see a lot of complaints about the back pass but when I watch other teams PP, i'd say roughly 80% of the league does it too.

I have less issues with that tactic specifically, it works if you execute properly.

The problem is the Habs struggle with execution at every level.

So even when that play works, they find another way to screw it up somehow.

They know this - but it won't stop them from covering the Habs like it's game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals

I don't see teams back skating and waiting at center ice for 20 seconds before making a back pass to their own zone again. That alone kills around 40 seconds of PP time. I'm not opposed to backpasses, but usually, when other teams do it, the person receiving the pass is a lot closer and is already coming in with blazing speed.

Like I said, I have less issues with that specific tactic...it's the execution that's the problem.

The Habs just struggle with every aspect of execution.

It's not effort, it's not even necessarily talent IMO.

Captain Johnny Toronto will be in for the Figs tomorrow night according to TSN1050's Leafs Lunch. If the Leafs lose this game they should fell much shame.

I dont even think he was even hurt that 2nd time lol
They just wanted to see which of the other 4 Centers they could trust the most

I believe acquiring Monahan was partially a contingency plan in case Dach didnt look too great at C
Which wasnt the case at all, as he looks fabulous

Its.. very weird having this much depth at C lol, I feel guilty ffs
