How so? The only regular forward that no longer playing for the Leafs is Engvall. And the Dman is Sandin. Sandin is by far the slowest Dman on the Leafs while Engvall is fast but I don’t think he is miles faster than Acciari and Lafferty if he is at all faster to begin with.

I was speaking in regards to the last 2 to 3 years not just this season. We've always been soft, now we're a little less soft but a lot slower and considerably less dangerous offensively.

His stat line might not look great on the Leafs but he passed the eye test with flying colours imo. And yes he has been scoring like a machine

I think speed wise is about the same. Only seem slower bc Keefe wanted to play a possession game instead of transition game which is why we don’t get as many odd man rushes like before. Another factor is the stretch pass which our Dman rarely do.

Due to the cap, like any other teams, we pretty much live and die with the top guys. The depth will score here and there but can’t rely on them to bailout the team. If Mack, Makar and Rantanen are not performing, Avs won’t go any where.
