Our goalies (minus Kallgren) played 50 games and allowed 125 goals combined.
So

We have 4.0 goals for per game
and allowed 2.5 goals against per game

We are never losing again.

Not sure who's starting for the Oilers. Usually goalies always get starts against their former teams but Jack is so mentally fragile its more likely to blow up in their face tbh

Who's shutting down McDavid tonight?

Also, thanks to the fine folk of Edmonton to change their schedules to accommodate me. Pick up the kids early from daycare, ask for an early day at work to beat traffic, finding a parking spot during rush hour, skip the home made dinner and break out the wallet for expensive arena food, not to mention dealing with the runs in the middle of the night. Awfully nice of yous.

I think the 3rd line is fine. Pretty responsible players. The team is top heavy and those first 2 lines must produce. If you are worried about contributions from the bottom 6, then you don't go top heavy.

The sun certainly shines bright on the centre of the universe. I've checked my privilege and its definitely there, plan to keep enjoying it as well!

Or at least don't stack up the top 6 when you can easily swap Jarnkrok and ROR to create more depth.

That 3rd line is simply not going to get it done. Need another scoring winger. Been saying it for over a year now

I'll hold out judging Kerfoot until I see him in the playoffs. He's been dependably feisty the last few series. Plus if Knies plays in the top-6 and ROR centres the 3rd line it's a totally different story.

Knies-Tavares-Nylander
Kerfoot-RoR-Jarnkrok

Light him up boys

Why is Ekholm in the Oilers lineup but both of the trades we made before him are unavailable?

probably not ideal flight times, don't forget they were in dallas

so schenn had to fly back to vancouver likely with the canucks and then get a flight to edmonton today

there really isn't direct flights between dallas and edmonton, so waiting on leafs jet would have been a waste

same issue with gus, they were in anaheim so it's probably a multi-leg flight as well

Also, I believe Schenn's wife is due to give birth at any time now, so he could be sidelined for that as well.
