I would have the PP units split up as well.

Reserve M&M for specific moments in the game.

I am loving Marner and Nylander together at 5-on-5.

Seems to me that Nylander is the shooter on the pp and should be the one getting set up.
Matthews doesn’t have his shot right now.
And knies should be net front.

i think that's a reason why I don't like marner at the point, it also disconnects him from JT and Knies. For marner to be successful at the point, he needs to be able to get the puck to either guy and not give it away obviously. He's good at the second part, but sometimes he makes the first part too readable

Marner almost always passes to matthews with the pass being one that is meant to be shot, it's in the wheelhouse for a one timer, during any scramble he always elects to go to matthews, not the worst idea tbf but it becomes predictable

Marner's passes to nylander are not of the same calibre, usually are a bit behind for one timers, and are never during a scramble, but from a stationary position.

This could also be because they are both righty's and marner's more comfortable passing to the right side of the ice but it's something that causes nylander's shot to not be used on the off wing

win or not, he'd be a big factor

imagine him as a third/second line option + a pp option.

We f***ing ran Jarnkrok on PP1 because Nylander was out, this would be like a 10x upgrade across the board

also gives us a way better 3rd line in game 7 for matthews to play with

Good period.
Bobby McMann is a beauty, Tavares should have a couple with a little better luck and looks like whatever was bothering Marner is over, easily the best player on either team that period.
