I want him as an assistant. He bleeds blue and whiteAccidentally voted Boudreau lol
Cassidy is just more of the same of Berube
don’t say I didn’t warn you. Same people who hated how we played under Berube, want a guy who runs a system that’s yes possession but boring as heck and doesn’t really generate a ton of offense?
I’m not saying that I specifically want Cassidy, but from a systems perspective Cassidy and Berube are really nothing alike.
The only thing I can really see that makes them similar is they’re both kinda jerks
I think we could certainly do a lot worse, but I’d prefer someone with a lighter touch.

Hope McDrai are ready..."There will be pain"![]()
Can you imagine how scared Babs will
Be to say anything to these snowflakes?
“We will report you!!!!”
He was pretty pissed in his interview he didn't get a sniff of an interviewI want him as an assistant. He bleeds blue and white
Behind him…..one coach has raised the cup since Cassidy last did it.Agreed, I just don’t think Cassidy is the right fit. His days as a quality coach who understands players seem to be behind him.
I have no problem with a coach who holds players responsible but we need a guy who is also the players respect. I think Roy could be a really good fit. He has experience developing younger players, he’s not afraid to hold guys accountable, has experience. I’d honestly prefer him over Cassidy.
The system probably didn't even count the vote knowing it is never going to happen. Hell, he might only have a slightly higher chance than some on this forum.Accidentally voted Boudreau lol

I don’t really care that Cassidy has won a cup elsewhere. So has every other coach we have had and it has zero impact on whether they will win a cup in Toronto.Behind him…..one coach has raised the cup since Cassidy last did it.
Having a good coach is good and one way of knowing if they are good could be to look at what they have done. But the most important thing, way more important om who is behind the bench is who is on the bench. Squad depth is by far the most important aspect of getting a winning team.I don’t really care that Cassidy has won a cup elsewhere. So has every other coach we have had and it has zero impact on whether they will win a cup in Toronto.

Berube
Carlyle all Stanley cup winners did f*** all with the leafs. So for me it isn’t some important criteria.

My point being is if only one coach has won the cup since him he isn’t outdated.I don’t really care that Cassidy has won a cup elsewhere. So has every other coach we have had and it has zero impact on whether they will win a cup in Toronto.

Exactly, winning the cup is great but it’s not a criteria that’s a mustAnd if we're being superstitious, no coach besides Scotty Bowman has coached multiple teams to a Cup.
anoythetr high stick tooThey let Vegas get away with a couple of obvious penalties and then called one on Carolina quickly for a play outside the blue ice. Seems like Carolina will have to go 8 on 5 today
