I don't get it. The rule states that's not a good goal regardless who it hit last, but I've seen goals counted that kicked off the opposing team. The lack of consistency is such a joke.

I thought if it deflected off a defender / goalie / opposition then went in , that ut wouod be a good goal . Now it’s just the part about kicking it into the net .. Haula meant to pass it accross to Bastian and then deflected in … It sucks but the other two were more bullshit than this one

We also had a goal by Hamilton called back when he did not kick it, which the rule clearly says is good goal. They literally make it up as they go along.

That's what the rule says, it can't deflect off a defender. Haula needed to get his stick on it, which from this replay it sure seems like he might have.

Yeah, we lose sight of the puck. Typically they don’t just guess what’s happening when they can’t actually see it.

I get it if it was a more clear case of someone kicking it into the net and it visibly bouncing off the goalie but his stick is there and he’s kicking it to the side.

No, that wouldn't make sense. Because you shouldn't be able to kick it directly at the net and have it go in off a defender or goalie. My issue is the rule makes ZERO sense if it doesn't specify the puck has to be kicked on goal.
