This team has been on the decline for three consecutive seasons. They're not going to suddenly become a better team and figure things out this late.

The team looks exactly like they did when they gave up on Murray. There is no way this team does anything without a coaching change. The players need to be embarrassed as a group.

We can moan about individuals all we like, Koptiar, McNabb, Toffoli, Muzzin, etc., but it's not like everyone just turned into dead weight at once. There is really no other option if they are serious about salvaging this season. Even if they come back to win tonight, I would say exactly the same thing.

I hate saying it, because I love Sutter, but a coaching change needs to be made.

I wouldn't be surpised if Sutter retired if the Kings missed the playoffs.

He isn't the reason they suck, but man is McNabb bad. What a huge whiff by the Kings scouts, this is a guy they specifically targeted and they hyped the hell out of him ..

NJ fired their coaches days before the playoff started.

What happened to Toffoli? All of a sudden he can't skate, with or without the puck. Can't shoot. Can't puck handle. Sometimes wins board battles.

I'm pretty sure it was stated when he came back that he won't be 100% the rest of the season and is just trying to manage it

toffoli shouldn't be playing at all, he can't skate at all.

I'd rather watch McNabb spin around than Muzzin spin around.

A huge question about this season is what the hell happened to Muzzin over the summer. He was fine at the end of last season. Best defenseman in the playoffs for the team. Then looked like crap in the few games he played for Team Canada, and has pretty much continued that for 60-some games this season.

Same as with Kopitar's 6 goals. You can't plan for Muzzin, the #2 guy, being this bad and/or ineffective. With all of the questions the team had going into the season, for Kopitar, Toffoli, and Muzzin to add 3 more questions is just killing them.

Next season is going to start, and a serious question will be can Kopitar score. Can't struggle to get 6, after 16 just 2 years ago. This isn't Kopitar hibernating.

I don't even think I'd trust Lombardi and Sutter to have a successful draft and expansion draft. Changes need to be made the minute the season ends

Best winger on the Kings for three seasons, now the epitome of mediocrity this season. Another huge reason the Kings season is sliding down the drain.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. NJ won a cup after firing Ftorek with 8 games left, but they were already contenders. Bylsma turned the Pens around with 25 left and won a cup.

If they don't fire Sutter, it's completely out of respect for what he has done. I don't think anyone would be confident he can do anything with this roster next season.

That's what I'm hoping for. I don't want him to get fired, but at the same time, it's time for a change. So retirement is the only choice.
