Problem with it is sitting 8+ ft back from the screen and under 60" a good Plasma looks better especially for sports. Those LED LCD panels still aren't great for sports.
4K is awesome for projectors though. Then you want DLP anyways (like in theatres) and +60"
2 of the same tvs side by side, 4k vs 1080, could you even tell the difference?
Ya, the source material would obviously have to match the highres, I'll just be interested to see how noticeable the difference even is.Only if what you were watching was filmed with a 4k camera.

thanks.
i think i saw it at wal-mart. it's that freaky "real-life" clarity.
I'm waiting for InfinityK.Wait for 8K
That's my Hollywood opinion.
what is 4k?
I agree. Its more than what you need at home unless youve got a serious home theater.

LOL i still have my 13 inch teevee....
(okay. as well as an HD tv. but still. i have my 13 inch t.v w/vcr)
I love my plasma.
PP coming up.
I use Plasma for sports. They suck for computer (reading) and they don't make them anymore. I guess if you sit up on your screen and want more landscape for the PC it's good.
In real world under 60" from 8ft I see no benefit at all on 4K and Plasma is easier on the eyes with no ghosting for hockey.
holy **** polak you're a warrior
