Dream scenario would be for the Habs to sneak into the playoffs and go against Toronto in round 1.
And yet again crush their souls in 7 games.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerWhy make posts that don’t add to the thread in anyway then?I responded to a Buffalo fan making a joke about the Sabres, making another joke that was still topic adjacent, at worst. That would have been the end of it, but you took yourself way too seriously and decided to call me out for some reason. That's literally the only reason I'm still here. Had you just ignored my joke and moved on, you could have spent all of this time gazing into your crystal ball and discussing whatever juice you think you can see with people that actually want to participate in your thought exercise.
Don't quote me and I won't.

Meh. I'm Canadian and unless my team wins it it doesn't mean anything to me.Would dream of an all Canadian Conference final. Would be amazing knowing Canada gets the cup no matter the outcome.
Toronto vs Ottawa
Calgary vs Edmonton.
I'd rather miss the playoffsToronto vs Edmonton cup final, Toronto wins
And Logan Thompson gets his revengeMap out a playoff bracket based on what you think would make the best matchups for each round. If you want to hype your favourite team then that's fine but really try and think from a neutral perspective what what make for great matchups each round.

Pretty sure the earth would stop spinning or the sun would explodeWould dream of an all Canadian Conference final. Would be amazing knowing Canada gets the cup no matter the outcome.
Toronto vs Ottawa
Calgary vs Edmonton.
I was going to be more prescriptive with guidelines but figured I would leave it up to people to decide. Ultimately most people aren’t even doing it anyway and only filling out a path for their team which is super lot the point so it doesn’t really matter anywayAs others have said, a Stanley Cup Final involving Toronto and Edmonton would break this site and probably the hockey world.
Consequently, if my team (Montreal) is not part of this dream scenario, Toronto vs Edmonton at the end would be my biggest wish.
I'd also love matchups that we don't get to see very often in the playoffs or the obvious rivalries from the past.
To the OP, you should have clarified if this bracket could only use the teams currently in a playoffs position.
Thought I'd revive this after the trade deadline. I really hope we can avoid big first round matchups DAL/COL and FLA/TB. Hopefully Dallas runs down Winnipeg, and Florida holds the Atlantic.I'm including the potential conference rankings to show (once again) how stupid this format is.
R1:
3. EDM vs 6. COL
4. VGK vs 7 LA
1. WPG vs 8. STL
2. DAL vs 5. MIN
1. WSH vs 8. NYR
5. CAR vs 6. NJ
2. FLA vs 7. OTT
3. TOR vs 4. TB
R2:
4. VGK vs 6. COL
2. DAL vs 8. STL
5. CAR vs 8. NYR
2. FLA vs 4. TB
R3:
2. DAL vs 4. VGK
2. FLA vs 8. NYR
R4:
2. FLA vs 4. VGK
Avoids heavy matchups in rd 1 like FLA/TB & COL/VGK, potential Tkachuk Bowl in rd 1, LA loses to someone different, Edmonton actually has to play a legit contender in rd 1, Binnington makes Hellebuyck his bitch again, Miller and Shesterkin carry the Rags through a shitty Metro division, two very good round 2 matchups (FLA/TB & VGK/COL), and a beauty of a SCF rematch.
The only way for the Jets and Oilers to play in the 2nd would be for Edm to cross over as a WC team into the Central bracket.Edm takes out Nucks in round 1
Edm takes out Jets in round 2
Edm takes out Avs in round 3
Edm wins cup against Toronto
Leaving no doubt who the big dog in Canada is.lol
