Good luck to him!
Around the middle, 2 names are combined to spell ''Methotards''. I find it funny.

Awesome career. An absolute warrior and an inspiration to any kid that hard work does beat talent, every single time.
Manny can work as he wants he can't touch Crosby even if he worked 10X harder
Hard work does not beat talent, you can work as hard as you want you'll never beat a pro athlete.

For a few years, he was the league's best PKer
Odd thing to say about a 7th overall pick.
He better learn French.
A total bust as a first round draft pick. Muckler pegged Malholtra as a solid 3rd line player in the NHL and that's exactly what he was. Despite being a first round bust he carved himself out a nice NHL career.
You better learn about Manny Malhotra...

He's had one eye on retirement for some time now
A total bust would not be someone who carves out 15 plus years in the league. I don't care if he was primarily a bottom 6 guy, that long jevity is impressive for anyone in any role.
A total bust does not end up in the league and staying there as a teenager, although one can always wonder whether it's good for the development of a player to bring them up so early.

He said Manny was a bust considering where he was drafted. Maybe there's a better word for it, but when a guy goes 7th overall, you expect him to be more than a bottom six guy. So, is he a bust? No, because of the reasons you mentioned, but people expected more from him since he was a high pick.
