2nd game back and Reinbacher is already Laval's best Dman. :D

A solid game by Laval. Awesome 5-1 win.

Farrell's resurrection has been amazing to watch, and is the biggest surprise of the second half.

Reinbacher played much better than the 1st game, so glad he's going to get these 25 games & playoffs. Stay healthy, dude!

Good team effort really.
Riley Kidney played an excellent game also.

I recorded the game, but was Reinbacher that good ? I thought he looked a good bit stronger and faster at training camp. I also thought he looked fantastic down the stretch last year. If so, that would be awesome news as he has so many tools.

Yeah he was great, Laval top6 is so young, its really interesting.

Lindstrom at 26 is a good young veteran as well.

Wotherspoon is a top notch veteran.

If Primeau can hold the fort, this team have the defence to win a championship.

He was by far the best Dman in terms of turning the play the other way IMO. I laughed like hell when the broadcast team seemed surprised they put him out on the penalty kill late in the game. Like were they even watching the same game? I love the fact that when the puck leaves Reinbacher's stick it's next destination is usually a team mates stick. I really thougt he was a stabilizing force out there both he and Trudeau had very good games.

That is one of his biggest quality and one of the reasons he was sought out. I see you have an eye for the game. I am assured of this. I have binge watched generation kill and have decided to talk as Lt Fick would. And no, I do not have a life.

It's important to keep the Rocket core intact so they have a good playoff run but Trudeau is getting close to deserving a few NHL games. If he was right handed I'm sure Habs would have already tried him as 3RD.

Reinbacher was good for the most part. However he inexplicably had the puck in a prime position in the slot and passed it to no one. Hope he builds confidence as it’s only his 2nd game in almost a year.

He did get in a player mid face after the whistle at one point, I liked that. Still great defensively, attacks opposing puck carriers.

Some interesting stats on Laval.

1st in the league in winning %

2nd in the league 1 point behind Rochester with 1 game on hand.

12th for GF
6th for GA

23rd on the PP with 17.4%
17th on the PK with 82.1%

Most penalized team in the League with 801 penalties minutes.

Alex Barré-Boulet has the highest points total with 39 points in 42 games putting him 30th overall in the league.

Those are definitely not the numbers you would expect a team with the best winning % to have.

Something I noticed is how much sizes Laval added this year and most likely why they are doing so well.
Especially on defence.

Forawrds
Xhekaj 6’4” 195
Tuch 6’2” 215
Arseneau 6’2” 223
Beaucage 6’1” 205

Dmen
Wotherspon 6’2” 222
Dacobs 6’2” 223
Zach Haye 6’3” 227
Hoefenmayer 6’1” 204
Mailloux 6’3” 215
Reinbacher 6’3” 207

He assumed Xhekaj would be at that spot but Florian didn’t read well what play Reinbacher wanted to do.
