You gotta admit, Kozlov is a player thats neither here nor there and waste of talent at that.

No, I was just providing a stupid response to an equally as moronic statement to begin with. You're full of yourself.deandebean said:I guess you're too young to remember the context of King's decision.
deandebean said:Ron Francis is a pretty good comparison, from what I saw last year.

Til the End of Time said:I think these statements are getting out of hand. Malkin is a great prospect, no doubt. But to make such a statement diminishing the skill of a future hall of famer and one of the most consistent playmakers in the league in order to build up a guy that could be the next Viktor Kozlov is a bit... insulting.
Laraque27 said:Its interesting to me that some of the same people here that said, last year, that Crsoby wasn't in Oveckin's league because he wasn't playing against men, are now arguing Malkin's better than Crosby despite the fact that Malkin is not playing the best league in the world and Crosby is. And succeeding.
For all the talk and *****ing about Canadians being overrated, there is such a insane anti-Canadian bias here that makes this board not worth reading sometimes.
Let me put it this way. Corey Perry is tearing up the AHL and I bet he'd have as many points as Malkin if he was in the WJCs. He must be as good as Ovechkin. Imagine the reaction from these Russian fans if I posted that.
Zine said:What value does stupid comments like this bring to this discussion? At least back up your statements..have you even seen Malkin play regularly?
Go away.
Chinaski said:Well Malkin is a supertalented player. So is Ovechkin. Crosby is not.
Slitty said:They all are supertalented players
Metallian said:No, Crosby is megatalented....theres a difference
but also keep in mind that Malkin is Ultrasupremely talented

jmelm said:Bottom line: If Malkin ends up being "only" as good as Mats Sundin, he will be big disappointment, just as Crosby would be if he only ended up being as good as Pierre Turgeon.
Til the End of Time said:Come on now. Malkin becoming Mats Sundin II would be a big disappointment in your eyes? What if Malkin becomes Jean Beliveau, would you consider him to be just a mere disappointment?
Tell me, what are your realistic expectations for Malkin?
