No. He's still a top 3 forward in the league, Canada needs this win.Perhaps we should put him to the sword then

Just chuckling over your use of y’all, mainly.thanks to you for policing and maintaining they highest of grammar standards on a hockey messaging board. you done great, keep up the fabulous work. we need you to survive.
At least he’s given up on the “I only provide objective commentary” act.You okay? Can't seem to have a discussion without acting like a child
He's shows him up everytime they play each other. I don't think he cares here. Nate wants to win and is an aloha not a pouting beta like McDavid.Guy had a wide open McDavid in OT and all he had to was push the puck to him... instead takes a low percentage shot that the goaltender was stopping all night. Wierd flex. If he thinks he is showing up McDavid, hes got another thing coming.
SweepThat overtime by Mackinnon was a perfect example of why he doesn't have a letter on his jersey. Instead of making the better play by using his teammates he put the game at risk over and over trying to be the hero and giving up possession of the puck
He's the top cheese of the league, he's gonna be out there lotsHe would’ve been gassed that was one of the most selfish plays I’ve seen in hockey. Connor and Sid were taking 30 Second shifts while he was out there for the whole time it looked like. And I’m not criticizing him for not passing I thought the shots were good shots.
Perhaps we should put him to the sword then
God damn are some people salty that MacKinnon didn't pass to McDavid on that one odd-man rush.
the funniest thing to me is that MacKinnon led the league in shots last seasonGod damn are some people salty that MacKinnon didn't pass to McDavid on that one odd-man rush.
This doesn't necessarily imply that. You'd also need data for the amount of opportunities the players have. It's possible that MacKinnon generates the most opportunities to take a shot, not that he decides to shoot on them at the highest rate.the funniest thing to me is that MacKinnon led the league in shots last season
he's statistically the most likely player in the entire NHL to take a shot when he has one
Any team McDavid is on, hes Alpha. Youll know that by the end of the tourny. Nate is hitching his wagon with Crosby. I guarantee you, if they played 97 with Crosby, you would notice the difference 97 and Mackinnon in an instance. McDavid is hell of a lot more cerebral than Nate. He's shows him up everytime they play each other. I don't think he cares here. Nate wants to win and is an aloha not a pouting beta like McDavid.
Sweep

I notice the difference the Avs when Oilers play. Nate dominates and sets the tone earlyAny team McDavid is on, hes Alpha. Youll know that by the end of the tourny. It’s not near as bad as a shootout but I agree they’ve been less rewarding as time goes on. Feels like a total different game to decide the outcome. I wish international games wouldn’t decide medal games on 3on3 or shootout3v3 is nearly as awful as a shootout.
Start with 4v4 and change to 3v3 after some time.
Cut down on the commercial breaks. One per period (at 10 minutes) is enough.Games are already too long. Closer to 2 hours is better than almost 3 hours.
