Meant to post in the gdt but I'm too slow.

Habs will need Monty next game if they want a chance to extend the series, one more game at the Bell Centre would be nice to see. Habs were not making noise in the playoffs this year but they've been in every game so far and that's invaluable experience for the future, they won't be swept and that a small win.
Some amazing defence shown by Xhekaj and Guhle tonight!!!
Don't give Matheson a free pass like that.

So Protas is close enough to returning to travel with the team to Montreal, but I wonder if the Caps hold him out now that they’ve got a 3-1 lead. Try to close it out at home and either start him fresh for the next round or bring him in as a boost for G6 if Habs win G5.

That was a nice learning game for the habs! They are getting a lot of good experience from thoses games. Just some nice investment for the future! They are competing and that whats matters at this point. Laine got hurt, Montembeault got hurt and today Carrier. They will be good next year and they will be playing with grit! Caps are making us better!

He sure dives a lot for a guy his size.
If the opposing team is going to take liberties in the playoffs, then you take advantage of that any way you can. It's so weird watching fans who supposedly live and breathe the game complaining about every single little thing like they're from a region where hockey is a tertiary sport.

Washington took a shitload of liberties in the first two games but for some really interesting reasons nothing was called. Now all of a sudden they are flopping all over the ice and everything gets called.

I wonder why

What do you think the reason is? That there is some sort of conspiracy against the team the NHL stands to make by far the most money from if they go far in the playoffs?

Do you think they just enjoy losing free money by rigging the game in favor of a medium market US team?

Bruh the PP's in the first 3 games were like 9-5 in favor of the Habs. Let's come up with some excuse that is based in reality.
