Gents this is 1st playoff game ever where i left after 2 .. i should have left after 1st .. Cats are just a much much faster team and when they dial up da speed we are left with only Willy Knies and Domi who can skate with these guys .. it is not even about toughness it is just flat out way way way too SLOW a team overall .. JT Marner and Matty MUST ALL leave over da summer with Shanny .. whoever new mgr is they MUST trade Matty out for 3 or 4 pieces (2 young super fast guys and a couple picks) .. if he says no way im going nowhere we stick him down with Marlies to play next season til he changes his mind .. he will .. those 3 guys will NEVER EVER EVER win a Cup as a core group .. all 3 are way too slow .. and none of them can make up for it with toughness and meanness .. it is s great time to RESET this team and DELETE da Shanaplan

As time goes on I think we’ll come to see the “business as usual” human Xanax pill that Craig Berube coaching as a clue to the utter dysfunction in the Matthews and Marner room.

These two guys are incapable of channeling negative energy into something productive and we always see these shit your pants humiliations.

Like they can’t have bad feelings, acknowledge them, move on. It just builds and builds and they can’t overcome it unless they pretend nothing is wrong, all you media types and the noise.

They can’t just say “yeah we sucked” and then come out and make adjustments. They just fall apart and feel sorry for themselves and get defensive.

I think they feed off each other with that stuff too... which is why it doesn't work with them together (on the same team I mean, not on the same line).

Everyone can take the blame, but depth scoring is a big issue again.

So is top-end scoring, but bottom 6 scoring has been an issue for like 8 years as well.

Fair enough. I do however think the top ends deserves more heat simply due to their contracts, supposed skill and greater amount of ice time including PP
