goalie interference is one of those things that's hard to pin down the nuances for
I can see why they called it back. Reimer made the initial save and the puck was going in after that though. He had no idea where it was.

Just so hard to know what is and isn’t goalie interference from game to game…

Sucks

I mean its pretty clear. As he makes the save his full motion is stopped by Hyman in the blue paint. This has been called off pretty consistently. Lets remove the homer glasses for a second
Except that Hyman and Reimer never made contact.

You’re right he made the save.c the rebound bounced off Hyman. Hyman in no way impeded him from making any save.

Get lost.

I’m not sure which movement Hyman prevented. Goalie’s skate extended straight between Hyman’s legs. Literally zero obstruction.
I wonder if was when the puck bounced up in the air? Maybe because Hyman was “in the way”….I dunno

his skates was in the crease. I can see why they called it back. But the inconsistency of the goalie interference challenge is going to cost teams wins in the playoffs.

He’s interfered with the goalie while in the crease
If he stays out, there no interference
He did not interfere with him. The goalie made the save and the rebound bounced in off Hyman.

There’s nothing in the rule book that says a player must be out of the crease when a goal is scored. They scrapped that a long time ago.

Good thing the “thing” we do where we are unable to play hockey at a basic level for the first 10-15 mins of any game is back.
