I’ve been following Sato for some time now. It’s nice to see him develop in Russia.

Still 0+0=0 but kind of won his team the game against Avangard as Chistyakov brutally murdered him and Torpedo used the 5-minute PP following the game misconduct for a couple of goals. He's doing fairly well for a rookie...10pts in 35 games, playing mostly 4th line minutes: Here he is roofing a backhand for his 5th goal

Ohhh...that tired old joke...haha. I didn't expect a guy from Colingwood to be up on a Japanese player who plays in the KHL. Fun fact...His teammate in Japan minor hockey was Ikky Kogawa who plays for the Collingwood Blues
