He helped Johnston quite a bit.
Did he ever. Especially physically and defensively but he proved he can play and score with elite talent as well. Likely will have more of a checking role but still a well deserved selection for Team Canada.

Should be bumped up from 4th line. I don’t see why he wouldn’t have the same success as McTavish has had with Bedard

He played pretty well in his 1st game. Drew a delay of game penalty with his forcheck.

hope Cuylle has a good home game tonight vs the Golden Knights.

Jake Leschyshyn 1st game against his old team tonight.

should be a good game for him too.

He’s quietly had a very good rookie season. Point totals aren’t amazing, but he’ll probably never be more than a 40 point guy anyway and he’s been playing 3rd line with sporadic PP time.

What’s been extremely surprising is his defense. I don’t think I’ve seen him make one terrible defensive play all year, and I think I could say that every other player on the team has. He’s very responsible defensively. You feel comfortable that your team isn’t going to be scored on when he’s on the ice. He’s turning into a shutdown defensive winger that can score a little, and plays very physical.
