get big Tuch vibes from watching him
at the moment obviously how was he at that age?Tuch is a much better skater.

Knies skating is fine. Watching bits of last night's game and the summer series, the skating issues (there are none,IMO) are overblown.

I'd be fine with that outcomeKnies reminds me a lot of Drake Batherson when I watch him play
Pretty good. He had a strong WJSS, too, and if he continues his strong NCAA start, it'll be hard to leave him home. Team USA has pretty good depth options up front but they don't have a ton of top end shooters.
Would slot in nicely next to Dvorsky and Chromiak, but nonetheless still looking forward to seeing him at WJC, even though it will be in USA gear. Could be in top 6 of lineup?
Not a bad night tonight.
Knies is perfect for the leafs and has first round potentialThat was a player that really excited me when we drafted him.
I've tended to shut up more and more as time has gone on...wasn't overly thrilled how we also seemed to go for 5'7-5'10 dudes...and lot of his picks look promising like Niemela etc so I figured, give it time, see how they pan out.
Knies immediately excited me, good combination of size and skill. I feel like there is a top 6 forward there.
Now leads all NCAA freshman in scoring. Great season so far and he's really starting to get comfortable.
He doesn't need to push any more. He's already earned it. He's a beast.Leads all freshman, and leads his team in scoring as well.
Hope he continues to push for a major role at the WJC.
