Not surprised to see this thread quiet while Crouse has put up 4 goals in 5 games including a late 3rd period tying goal that lead to a win tonight. 15 points in his 14 games since returning from the WJC. Thought it would be worth mentioning. :dunno:

Spencer Watson returned tonight after missing over 20 games with a fractured ankle (I believe), and with the possibility of Sam Bennett being returned sometime late February, Crouse could have a big final couple of months.

Thanks for the update. Definitely worth mentioning.

The dude is a stud. Should be around point per game by the time season is done. Not that it even matters anyways, Horvat had 61 points in 67 games in draft year, andrew Ladd, Ryan Johansen, who said you need to rip it up? Oh right hfboards.com says so.

He sure is a smart reliable player with high hockey IQ... Don't believe me,? Just watch the 2 handed slash he delivered tonight. Selfish player

Yeah what a jackass. Completely hacks the guy from behind then runs away to let the official keep them apart. Really not a team player whatsoever.

Crouse scored his 21st goal of the season Friday night as Kingston lost 7-1 to Oshawa. It was your run-of-the-mill rebound goal, but I gfy'ed it anyway:

Maybe people should watch the whole play for context.

Kingston was being routed, and Brown cross-checked Crouse. He then went and slashed Watson.

Here's the whole clip.

If you watch the video, he doesn't react until he sees Brown slash Watson.

As for those who say he wouldn't fight, he's already got 4 on the year.

And to add, Brown reacted that way because the both hit Vande Sompel who has head neck and concussion issues. Boys will be boys.

Most posters on HF don't have a clue on how to evaluate players

They will post when TSN tells them to

And then the guys that are REALLY smart say TSN and of course NHL scouts are outdated. They will tell you draft the player with better league adjusted points every time.

Crouse is going to be an awesome pro.

Looked extra terrible against Ottawa today. Probably moved up a spot in the rankings.

I'll take the shift where he got blown up by a guy half his size and then ran head first into the boards missing a check.

He's a late first round prospect at best. If you're picking at the early end of the first round, you want to see high end/top line potential. Nick Ritchie displayed more of that before the draft than Crouse has ever shown.

It'll be funny to see what team drafts him.

All of those fans will suddenly pull a 180 and start defending him.

No mention of how bad Kingston is as a team? Ottawa was just cycling and cycling in the 3rd, Kingston had a very hard time stopping Ottawa.

But of course, most people will mention how Crouse didn't have a good game. His teammates couldn't even get him the puck..

If I have to be at a "blame the teammates" stage this guy being ranked so high is a joke.
