I've always wondered why opposing casters never get together with guys and ask them how their name is pronounced and share notes. I'm a Leafs fan and once, on the same shift, heard Luke 'Cunnin' which is based, and Luke 'Q-nin', which is less

I still enjoy when Stephane Fiset was almost 30 that he finally told the Kings announcers that it was pronounced Fee-say rather than Fee-set as they had been doing for years. I thought the NHL media guide did have a phonetic listing for each player.

I feel like somebody recently went out of their way to let everyone know that we've been mispronouncing their name for years.

And we just had the videos of the European players saying their names, 🎶 Ukko Pekka-Luukkonen 🎶

It can't be hard to talk to these guys and get a consensus here.

There's multiple variants of the surname He, which is why I'd love to know just which one.
