Some drafts I have seen that post all seven rounds do not have him listed. I could see a team taking a gamble on him in the seventh round, not only because he's Israeli, but the potential is still there.

Not surprised he wasn't drafted , if he doesn't start the next season hot I'd say Sudbury should trade him.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but how has Levin been? I noticed he wasn't picked in last year's, or this year's draft.

I just remember that old YouTube video of him supposedly tearing up the OHL.

I've seen him live a few times over the past 2 seasons and he can show flashes of great skill (hence why he was taken first overall to the Wolves), but his overall game is very easy to miss. He's just not that good of a player, and doesn't make the players around him better either.

If I'm not mistaken he wasn't the projected 1st overall pick, but players said they wouldn't go to Sudbury, so thet drafted him.

I believe he attended Carolina's camp last year.

I don't think so. I'm fairly certain he was the projected/consensus #1 Overall choice.

Perhaps Vilardi was also considered, honestly can't remember 100%.

Vilradi, Levin and Tippett were all in the same group. But Sudbury treated Vilardi's younger brother like garbage, and Tippet would not report to most teams.

I remember many scouts thought Tippett was the best player available that year

He very well might have been, but he went 4th overall as he essentially hand picked his destination.

Sudbury - Levin
Windsor - Vilardi
Flint - McLeod
Missy - Tippett

The big story of the 2015 draft was once again, London.

They ended up with Evan Bouchard, Robert Thomas and Brady Tkachuk (who obviously, never ended up reporting after making the Sens).

Levin's biggest problem is his work ethic. As someone who's attended several Sudbury Wolves games his skill is undeniable. He show's flashes of brilliance where he goes from one end to another. His vision is great and his stick handling is awesome. But he is inconsistent. He doesn't do much on the defensive end either.
His skating also needs work for him to be an Nhl player.

London seems to always have strong drafts. Some players are only willing to report there which is frustrating as an OHL fan.

Not only did they come up with Bouchard and Thomas. They received Alex Formenton in the 11th round who could very well be an nhl player soon. Jacob Golden in the 15th round who was an Nhl draft pick. They got Cole Tymkin who has been a productive player for them as well. Turko and Blacker are Ohl players. They almost pulled Tkachuk, and Dhooghe who has been great in NCAA.
