Red Wings used a 2nd round pick on him, it's a pretty big investment. It would be quite weird not to sign him. Besides Hanas turned 20, 3 days ago, he's only now eligible to play in the AHL.
At least numbers wise it like he's rebounded well so far this year. Has anyone watched him this season? Does Detroit sign him this summer?
Anyone watch him enough to know why his PIMs are somewhat high historically? Is he a scrapper or is he a little sloppy defensively?
He had good start last season, 17 points in 30 games and GR was a bad team last season. Hanas was injured for rest of the season after 30 games. Maybe that injury is still a factor and im heard Hanas is slow AF. Doesn't sound very and there are better prospects ahead of him in the depth chart. I think continues being a 4th liner next season.Drafted a round or two earlier than he probably should have. 9 points in 35 games in the A. We'll see what his future holds.
