100%. Only probably is he’s 18 lol

Isles haven’t had luck with our last couple of 1st round American Snipers Bellows and Wahlstrom. Hopefully 3rd times a charm with Eiserman.
We thinking that Eiserman is actually two kids in a trenchcoat?

How does he stack up against Caufield, at the same age?
Cole Eiserman has looked better than Caufield in his freshman year. But, he also has the advantage of size a bit of a different play style.

Cole Caufield’s shot was more lethal but I felt he waited for the game to come to him a bit too much in his freshman year. Caufield improved a ton in his sophomore year though.

Eiserman strikes me as a guy that can provide a bit of physicality and 30 goal upside while Caufield is a guy with elite offensive tools that could push for 50 goals.

Yea I don’t wanna take anything away from Caulfield but I’ve really liked the way Eiserman and played physically and more well-rounded. I definitely think he still has 40+ goal upside and can be a good top line winger

Scoring wise, absolutely.

Is he doing better on the things that saw him fall to where he did? Scoring goals has never been an issue for him.
Take it for what it is, but on one of his goals, you can hear the announcers talking about how surprised they were about all the talk of him playing away from the puck. They said that he’s one of the hardest back checkers and committed guys that particular game. Hopefully Pandolfo is teaching him, and I have no reason to believe he’s not.

Listen, I love a complete hockey player and all three zones but if a guy can be a legit 30+ goal sniper and possibly more I’ll take the sacrifice and some of the other areas. The Islanders have been desperate for a player that can just score goals when he wants to. Isles haven’t had that in a while. As long as he’s not giving up on plays and just letting guys walk into his own, you have to put up an effort, even if you don’t succeed. Not everybody is gonna be Patrice Bergeron, Pavel Datsyuk, Brad Marchand or Toews level defensively as a forward.

If he is a 30 goal scorer he isn't close to Caufield who will be 45-50 goal scorer.
