He looked good in his nhl debut. When I hear his name I think of Bane from Batman.

Would love to see someone create an avatar of some sort for Bains wearing the Bane mask:)

He got gassed on a couple shifts that led to Colorado pressure and at least one goal, but not a bad debut by any means. Good energy on the forecheck on a few shifts.

You could tell he wasn’t conditioned for the intensity of a NHL game, looked gassed at times.

Too be far though Colorado isn’t an easy team to try and keep up with

The team played Minny on Monday, and then travelled most of the night to get to Denver. And of course as we all know, the Av's home games are played at a 'mile-high' arena.

I'm sure Bains never faced travel like that in the AHL, where most games are separated by a week and basically in the same Pacific time zone. So it isn't a big surprise that he looked 'gassed' on some shifts.

How has Bains looked so far this season. Is he contributing?… does he stay on the big club for the rest of the year?

Hard worker. Doesn't really hurt the team. That said still has a long way to go if he wants to be a staple on a team offensively.

His best asset is his high energy he brings to a line even if it doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

He's my pick to be sent down when Joshua returns.
